Plot summary
"I wonder if I left the cooker on?" Many of us feel anxious when we leave home in a hurry, but we still manage to cope. For K this turns into a morning dominated by thoughts of fire. Her strategies to avoid catastrophe become increasingly absurd. But when eventually she feels safe, fire finds another way into her life...
