Plot summary
It's the early 80s and Norway is keen to secure supplies of its undersea oil. Peder, a diver, is determined to carry out test dives at more than 500 metres' depth. He and his brother Knut have the skill, strength and courage to carry it out, but something goes wrong. Pioneer is a conspiracy thriller about personal loss and a nation's success.
