Biography
Karin Nilsson was born in Kil, Värmland in 1965. After six years working as a commercial artist she studied animation at the Nordic School of Animation 1989-1991. Since then she has worked as an animator for A-Film in Denmark, on commercials, and features such as All Dogs Go to Heaven II (1995) and Amazon Jack (1996). Biography
Karin Nilsson was born in Kil, Värmland in 1965. After six years working as a commercial artist she studied animation at the Nordic School of Animation 1989-1991. Since then she has worked as an animator for A-Film in Denmark, on commercials, and features such as All Dogs Go to Heaven II (1995) and Amazon Jack (1996). For Jannik Hastrup, Dansk Tegnefilm, she has worked on the features HC Andersen´s Long Shadow (1998), Cirkeline, Mice and Romance (2000) and The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Bear (2002).
In Sweden Karin has worked for Filmtecknarna on Madonna´s video Music, on TV shorts and commercials such as Boddington, Sky Digital (UK), McDonalds TEX MEX Sleeping Beauty and My Anti Drug Music.
More recently she´s worked for Per Åhlin at PennFilm Studio, on Dog Days (feature 2000) and Lilla Spöket Laban (6x7min 2006).
Karin has also made her own short film, Sudden Death, in 1991.
