Plot summary

1720. The Great Northern War is over and Danish-Norwegian sailor Tordenskiold is out of a job. The servant Kold persuades his master to take a wooing trip to Hanover. It develops into a fun, grotesque journey through Denmark and into Germany, where Tordenskiold meets his Swedish bane.
