Daniel Alfredson, born in Stockholm, has directed many films for television and among his most critically acclaimed features is National Film Award winner Tic Tac/Tic Tac (1997). Biography

Daniel Alfredson, born in Stockholm, has directed many films for television and among his most critically acclaimed features is National Film Award winner Tic Tac/Tic Tac (1997). In recent years he has worked as Head of Drama at Sveriges Television (SVT).

After making his National Film Award nominated film Varg/Wolf (2008), based on a novel by Kerstin Ekman, he has directed Flickan som lekte med elden/The Girl who Played with Fire (2009) and Luftslottet som sprängdes/The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest (2009), both based on the international bestsellers by Swedish author Stieg Larsson.
