Axel Petersén is a director, videoartist and storyteller. His short film A Good Friend of Mr. World was Guldbagge-nominated and has shown at festivals all over the world. He studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm 2005-2010 and at FAMU Academy of preforming Arts in Prag 2003-2004 and is represented by Niklas Belenius Gallery in Stockholm. Avalon is his first feature film.
