Plot summary

In recent centuries beavers were almost entirely eradicated from Europe and North America. This was largely due to the fact that the finest hats were made from felted beaver fur, and every gentleman in Europe wanted one. Even milliners nearly disappeared thanks to "mad hatter's syndrome". In this documentary we meet a tanner, Ajja Petterson, and the beaver expert Lars Wilson.
