Plot summary

At the Arctic Circle, time stands still. The summer's midnight sun erases the boundaries between day and night, while antiquated ideals live on. The long days, combined with the village's lack of things to do, have bred great creativity and allowed the residents a lot of time to socialise with each other – perhaps too much. The idea of status quo has never been more telling.
