Anna-Clara Tidholm

Anna-Clara debuted as a poet in 1966, and then worked as a journalist and author. She then turned to the visual arts in the late 70’s. She has illustrated children’s programs for television, and produced picture books based on Swedish folk tales.
Anna-Clara has illustrated and collaborated on some 60 children’s books. Several of these children’s books have been produced in collaboration with Thomas Tidholm.
Anna-Clara has also collaborated with authors such as Barbro Lindgren, Siv Widerberg and Ulf Nilsson.
As an illustrator Anna-Clara has also worked with non-fiction books for children, newspaper comic strips, exhibitions and children’s television programs. She writes columns for newspapers, the radio and magazines and participates in debates on children’s culture.
