Biography
As an internationally recognized visual artist, Mats Hjelm has developed aesthetically and technically advanced video installations around the world, always with a political context. After studies at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, he has done several video installations with themes from Detroit. Black Nation is his first feature documentary.
