Docudrama about four street kids in Rio de Janeiro, spending their days between the favela on the hills above the city and the Copacabana beach, trying to make ends meet by polishing shoes and playing tricks on the more well-to-do. The film depicts the hardships facing the children, but also their joy, friendship and dreams.
