Staffan Lamm's Untold is a documentary film in 6 episodes. These are his own words on each story.

Anxiety: When my uncle Göran was seven years old he was sent to a mental hospital for children. I was both scared and fascinated about his destiny and he's life affected me a great deal.

Journey home: I never got over the fact that I didn't have the chance to show the footage I had of Arvid. I shot it during the autumn of 1970 when a small group of mental patients went home for a short visit. A first step towards a life outside closed doors.

Homeless: I was looking for tumbledown houses, homes without inhabitants and inhabitants without homes - I became obsessed. In Hanna's house I got stuck for hours.

Dream: I have an unpleasant dream that keeps repeating itself; a journey through my grandparents huge apartment. Everytime my own cries wake me up.

Fire: My interview with the spy Selmer in 1971 felt like a disappointment and the footage of the fire was of no use back then. When I see it today I actually don't know what happened and why.

Photomania: A whole box is full of my grandfather's photos from the summerof 1931. It was the only time he used his camera. Today when I look at the photos it's not only the amount that frightens me.
