Biography

Andrea Östlund was born in 1971 in Malmö, Sweden. She has a background in free theatre, both as a director and a producer, and has worked as, among other things, FAD, acting teacher and production manager. She studied Literature, drama and screenwriting at the University of Gothenburg. Studied directing at the School of Film Directing in Gothenburg 1998-2001. Currently works at Film i Väst as a film commissioner för Rookie Film. Currently writing on her first play for theatre.
